When the Daytona News-Journal put together its 105-man roster of all-time UCF greats, offensive tackle stood out as one of the program’s deepest and most important spots. Nine Knights at the position made the paper’s All-FBS team, a group that stretches across three decades of UCF football and includes starters, award winners and NFL players.
The list begins with Cornell Green, who spent four seasons shielding Daunte Culpepper and helped lay the groundwork for the record-setting offenses that followed. Green started 33 games over his final three seasons, went undrafted in the 1999 NFL Draft, later reunited with Culpepper on the Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders in 2007 and won Super Bowl XXXVII with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jah Reid also left a major mark in Orlando. He earned multiple All-Conference USA honors, making the Coach's All-Conference USA Freshman Team in 2007 before landing back-to-back All-Conference USA First Team selections in 2009 and 2010. The Baltimore Ravens took him 85th overall in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft, and he won Super Bowl XLVII with the Ravens as a rookie.
Steve Edwards was another steady presence during UCF’s Independent FBS era. He went undrafted in the 2002 NFL Draft and spent his longest pro run with the Chicago Bears from 2002 to 2005.
Amari Kight arrived at UCF as a transfer from Alabama in 2023 and quickly became a dependable starter. He played in the Hula Bowl in 2025 before entering the NFL Draft, then signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent and won Super Bowl LX with them in his rookie year.
Tylan Grable brought a strong résumé with him when he transferred from Jacksonville State in 2022. He added All-OVC recognition to UCF’s line, then picked up Third Team All-AAC honors in 2023, along with an invitation to the Panini Senior Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine. The Buffalo Bills selected him with the 204th pick in the sixth round, and he has remained with the team.
The list also includes Evans, who was a steady starter from 2014 to 2017. He played left tackle and earned American All-Academic team honors twice.
Wyatt Miller handled both right and left tackle for UCF in 2017 and 2018 and was one of Scott Frost’s leaders in 2017. He collected back-to-back Second Team All-AAC honors and helped the Knights set the rushing record in 2018.
Torrian Wilson earned conference recognition in three of his four seasons. He made the C-USA All-Freshman Team in 2011, was named Second Team All-C-USA in 2012 and, after UCF moved to the AAC in 2013, picked up Second Team All-AAC honors in his senior year.
Samuel Jackson rounded out the group with his best season in 2022 as a fifth-year player. He was one of five team captains, earned first-team All-AAC honors from Pro Football Focus, was a second-team All-AAC selection by league coaches, picked up third-team All-AAC recognition from Phil Steele and also appeared in the Hula Bowl.

UCF Suddenly Faces A Huge Frontcourt Question Again
UCFs frontcourt picture just got a little murkier, and it revolves around a familiar face. Senior forward Jamichael Stillwell is one of 16 college athletes in Georgia suing the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility under the associations new 5 for 5 rule, a challenge that could keep his college career going beyond what the current clock says.
The argument centers on whether his junior college seasons should count against that limit, and the case matters to UCF because the Knights reportedly have a roster spot waiting if he gets the green light. Stillwell was a productive piece in his lone season in Orlando, so the outcome of the lawsuit could end up shaping not just his future, but the way UCF fills out its frontcourt heading into next season. UCF History Fans Know Has A Forgotten Offensive Line Chapter
A recent Daytona News-Journal look back at UCFs all-time football greats offered a reminder that some of the programs most important work has happened in the trenches. The paper put together a 105-man roster of Knights standouts and singled out a run of offensive guards who helped define the program after its jump to the FBS, a group that has produced conference honors, pro opportunities and a few careers that stretched well beyond the college game.
Josh Sitton is the headliner in that line of history, but he is hardly alone. The list also points to players such as Jordan McCray and Cole Schneider, whose paths took them from UCF to the pros and, in some cases, to championship runs in other leagues. It is the kind of forgotten offensive line chapter that tends to get overshadowed by quarterbacks and playmakers, even though the Knights rise was built on exactly this sort of steady, physical talent. Andrew Williamson Just Delivered A Huge UCF Baseball Milestone
Andrew Williamsons draft day gave UCF baseball a jolt of validation, with the outfielder becoming the programs highest selection in two decades and only the second Knights player ever taken in the second round. It was the kind of milestone that reflects more than one players rise, because it also put another bright spotlight on a UCF program that has been trying to turn consistent development into national recognition.
The draft board kept moving for the Knights after Williamson came off it, as pitcher Braden Smith and outfielder John Smith III were also selected later on. For UCF, that kind of multiple-player haul matters just as much as the headline pick, because it underscores how much talent was on this roster and how quickly the next wave of questions arrives about what the program will look like after losing so much of it.
