UCF Football Adds Two Recruits to Boost 2026 Class Potential

UCF continues to build for the future as Coach Scott Frost adds two promising recruits to an already deep and competitive roster.

UCF’s 2026 recruiting class just got a little stronger - and a lot more intriguing.

Head coach Scott Frost and his staff added two more pieces to the puzzle on Wednesday, signing wide receiver Jordan Nunuha and defensive lineman Isaiah McNish. Both are three-star prospects, and both bring unique skill sets that could eventually make waves in Orlando.

Let’s start with Nunuha. Hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, the 6-foot-1, 175-pound wideout put up solid numbers in his senior season at St.

Louis High School: 38 catches, 605 yards, and 10 touchdowns. But the stats only tell part of the story.

Turn on the tape, and you’ll see why UCF beat out schools like Oregon, Washington, and San Diego State for his commitment. Nunuha’s game is built on speed and suddenness - he’s the kind of receiver who can turn a short route into a chunk play with a single cut. He’s slippery in space, tough to bring down, and has a knack for making the spectacular look routine.

One highlight clip posted by UCF Football’s official X account shows Nunuha splitting zone coverage, tracking the ball over his shoulder, and going up to make a contested catch with a safety draped over him. That kind of body control and ball-tracking ability doesn’t show up in a box score, but it’s what separates good receivers from great ones.

Now let’s talk about the big man up front. Isaiah McNish is a 6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive lineman out of Apopka High School - just a short drive from the Bounce House.

His recruitment had some twists and turns. After visiting UCF on June 6, 2025, he committed just two days later, only to decommit in October.

But on Wednesday, he made it official: he’s staying home.

McNish had 12 offers on the table, including ones from Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Missouri, and Pittsburgh. But ultimately, he chose to be part of what Scott Frost is building - and for good reason.

Watch McNish on film, and it’s clear why defensive tackles coach Kenny Martin is excited to get him in the room. He’s a force in the trenches, using his size and leverage to clog running lanes and collapse the pocket. He’s not just a space-eater, either - he shows flashes of explosiveness off the snap that could translate well at the next level.

Still, with UCF returning several key veterans and bringing in experienced talent through the transfer portal, it’s unlikely that either Nunuha or McNish will see significant snaps right away. But that’s not a knock - it’s a reflection of how deep and competitive this roster has become under Frost.

The Knights aren’t just collecting talent; they’re building a foundation. There’s a clear emphasis on development - turning raw potential into production - and that’s how winning cultures are built.

Nunuha and McNish may have to wait their turn, but their upside is real. And when that opportunity comes, don’t be surprised if they make the most of it.
