Lenovo Center Unveils the View Bar: A New Way to Catch the Action Without Missing a Beat
RALEIGH, N.C. - Fans heading to the Lenovo Center for the NC State-UNC men’s basketball showdown on February 17 are in for more than just a rivalry game - they’ll also be among the first to experience the arena’s latest addition: the View Bar.
Announced by Brian Fork, CEO of Hurricanes Holdings, the View Bar is a sleek, third-level hangout spot designed with the modern fan in mind. It’s open to everyone in attendance and offers a place to grab a drink, catch your breath, and still keep your eyes on the court.
“We’re thrilled to introduce this state-of-the-art amenity for fans visiting Lenovo Center,” said Fork. And for good reason - the View Bar isn’t just a bar, it’s a smartly positioned social space built into sections 317 through 319, giving fans a wide-angle look at the game while they enjoy a beverage or two. No more long lines pulling you away from the action, no more missing a crucial possession while waiting at the concourse.
This is part of a larger wave of upgrades coming to the 300-level of the Lenovo Center. Construction is already underway on a new grab-and-go concession area, plus a full refresh of all restrooms in the upper tier. It’s clear the organization is investing in the full fan experience - not just what’s happening on the court or the ice, but how fans enjoy the game from the moment they walk through the doors.
And the View Bar isn’t just for basketball. After its debut during the NC State-UNC matchup, it’ll be open for select concerts and events as well. It’s set to make its first appearance during a Hurricanes home game on February 26, when Carolina hosts the Tampa Bay Lightning - a matchup that’s already got fans buzzing.
This move signals a broader trend across arenas nationwide: making the in-person experience more immersive, more comfortable, and more communal. The View Bar checks all those boxes. It’s a place to gather, to stay connected to the game, and to elevate what it means to be part of the crowd.
For fans heading to the arena this weekend, the game won’t be the only thing worth checking out.
