Hurricanes Edge Penguins in Overtime Thriller
The Carolina Hurricanes found themselves in a nail-biter against the Pittsburgh Penguins, ultimately pulling off a 6-5 overtime victory. Despite a tough loss to the Blue Jackets earlier, the Canes bounced back, showcasing resilience and grit.

The Hurricanes got on the board first with a shorthanded goal by Jordan Martinook, thanks to a crafty play by Jordan Staal. The first period ended with Carolina holding a slim 1-0 lead.

Key Performances
The Stankoven line was electric, with all three forwards contributing multiple points. Jackson Blake led the charge with a three-point night, including his 20th goal of the season. The trio combined for a total of seven points, with each player finding the back of the net.
Sebastian Aho's milestone assist was a highlight, setting up Walker for the game-winning goal. Nikolaj Ehlers also shone, extending his assist streak to three games with three helpers.
