At the annual league meeting in Phoenix, Haslam, who previously dubbed the Watson trade a “swing and a miss,” now sees potential for a fresh start under new head coach Todd Monken. He praised Watson’s effort and toughness, suggesting that with Monken’s offensive expertise, Watson has a real shot at success.
