BYU is putting a new corporate mark in one of the most visible spots in college football.
The school announced an expanded multiyear sponsorship agreement with Trucordia, and the company’s logo will now appear on BYU football helmet bumpers. The first look is set for Nov. 7, when the Cougars play Utah in Salt Lake City.
Trucordia, an insurance brokerage headquartered in Lindon, Utah, has worked with BYU Athletics since 2024. This new deal takes that relationship a step further and gives the company a presence on the team’s helmets.
“BYU has built a strong tradition of achievement and a passionate fan base that reaches well beyond Utah,” said Felix Morgan, Trucordia’s chief executive officer and chairman of the board. “We’re proud to deepen our sponsorship with BYU Athletics and bring the Trucordia name to one of college football’s most visible stages. We look forward to connecting with Cougar fans and supporting the program in the seasons ahead.”
BYU also pointed to the increased visibility that comes with the helmet placement.
“Trucordia has been a valued corporate sponsor of BYU Athletics, and we’re excited to move to the next level with them,” said Casey Stauffer, BYU’s senior associate athletic director of corporate sponsorships. “Featuring the Trucordia logo on our football helmets gives the sponsorship a highly visible presence, and we’re excited to continue building on our relationship.”
Trucordia describes itself as a Top-20 U.S. insurance brokerage and says it helps businesses and individuals find coverage solutions to protect what matters most. The company offers commercial and personal lines, life and health and employee benefits insurance solutions, and says it has more than 5,000 team members across the U.S.
The brokerage ranks No. 18 on Business Insurance’s 2026 Top 100 Brokers and No. 13 on Insurance Journal’s 2026 Top Property/Casualty Agencies.
BYU, a Big 12 program, says the expanded partnership will connect Trucordia with Cougar fans through the athletics department’s platforms throughout the season.

BYUs Utah Hopes Suddenly Center On One Crucial Return
A viral snap from former BYU offensive lineman Connor Pay has given Cougar fans something unexpected to argue about online, with the clip drawing more than 3 million views and turning a routine football exchange into a minor social media debate. The video shows the ball landing in a throwing position with the laces on the fingers, and while some viewers hailed it as a perfect snap, others pushed back on that description.
All the while, BYU is getting ready for Utah with a much more consequential storyline on the field: the possible return of running back LJ Martin from injury. In a rivalry game where every healthy body matters, Martins status could end up carrying far more weight than any viral highlight ever will. [Read more 🡒]
BYU Faces Its Biggest Test Yet With One Major Concern
BYU heads into its showdown with Utah with plenty on the line and just as much attention, as the matchup brings together two top-10 teams in one of the most anticipated games on the schedule. The Cougars have spent the week preparing for a Utah defense that has been sturdy and a Utes offense that presents its own challenges, while offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick is already looking at ways to adjust the running game if needed.
The biggest concern for BYU is the likely absence of key offensive player LJ Martin because of injury, a development that could force the Cougars to lean on depth and creativity in a game where every possession matters. Coaches have talked through the preparation and the strategy, but the real test will come on the field, where BYU will have to find answers against a rival that rarely makes things easy. Ohio State Suddenly Has A Real Reason To Watch USCs Bye Week
USCs win over Ohio State changed the tenor of the College Football Playoff race, and now the Trojans have a stretch run that could shape not only their own path but the picture around them. Lincoln Rileys team, ranked No. 20, is still chasing the programs first playoff berth, and the final three games against Indiana, Maryland and UCLA will tell a lot about whether that breakthrough remains in reach.
For teams like BYU, the ripple effects are just as real, because every week now seems to carry some weight in the broader bracket chase. The upcoming slate also includes key games involving Oregon, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Miami and Utah, with injuries such as Miami wide receiver Malachi Toneys high ankle sprain adding another layer to a race that already feels crowded and volatile.
