A Rasmus Dahlin bobblehead is coming to KeyBank Center, and it headlines a Buffalo Sabres promotional calendar packed with theme nights for the 2026-27 season.
The giveaway is set for March 2, when Dahlin will be featured for all fans in attendance against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Dahlin is entering his ninth NHL season and is coming off a career-high 68-point campaign. He finished third in the voting for the Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman last season.
The Sabres’ home schedule also includes a run of nights built around honorees, community groups and special celebrations. One of the first to be revealed is Disc-o Night on Nov. 25 against Pittsburgh, a Black Friday game. That one comes with a pregame party on Alumni Plaza.
The team is also planning Home for the Holidays Night on Dec. 20 against the Los Angeles Kings. All fans will receive a mystery player pin featuring one of three Sabres players, and there will be holiday-themed programming throughout the arena.
Several other dates already have their own identity. Girls and Women in Sports Night is set for Feb. 6 against the New York Islanders. Black History Celebration Night follows on Feb. 16 against Carolina, honoring Black hockey history with entertainment, special concession items and educational exhibits provided by local artists and community figures.
Kids Takeover Day lands on March 5 against the New York Rangers. The first 3,000 kids will get a Sabres plush keychain, and kids will take over various in-game roles during the afternoon.
Mascot Madness is scheduled for March 20 against Florida, with the first 3,000 kids receiving a pair of Sabretooth socks. There will also be a mascot appearance from other NHL and Buffalo-area teams.
The calendar keeps rolling into April. Cancer Appreciation Night is set for April 30 against Detroit. Fans will get a team flag, and there will be giveaways throughout the game.
The Sabres are also bringing back several familiar theme nights. Home for the Holidays, Disc-o Night and Pride Night are all on the slate, with the Pride Night game scheduled for March 7 against Vancouver. The Sabres also announced Hall of Fame induction night for Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville on Jan. 14 against Colorado. All fans will receive a commemorative pennant, and a 2000s standouts Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek will be inducted into the Sabres Hall of Fame in a pregame ceremony.
Single-game tickets for all games have been on sale since mid-July, and the team also has a limited 10-game plan still available.
