Josh Allen Earns Major Honor Again After Dominating Performance

Josh Allens latest standout performance has earned him another weekly honor, adding to a record-setting season thats turning heads across the league.

Josh Allen Adds Another Chapter to His Historic Season with AFC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Josh Allen is no stranger to weekly accolades, but what he did in Week 14 against the Bengals was something special-even by his high standards.

The Bills quarterback was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season and the 18th time in his career, tying him with Buffalo legend Jim Kelly and longtime kicker Jason Hanson for 18th on the NFL’s all-time list. Only a handful of players in league history have racked up more, and among active players, only Aaron Rodgers (27) and Matt Prater (19) sit above him.

Allen also picked up his second FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Week award of the season, thanks to a performance that was as efficient as it was electric. He completed 22 of 28 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns, and added 78 rushing yards and a rushing score in Buffalo’s 39-34 win over Cincinnati.

That stat line isn’t just impressive-it’s historic. Allen is now the only player in NFL history to post those numbers in a game twice in his career. And with 11 career games featuring at least three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown, he now holds the all-time record in that category as well.

This wasn’t just another big game from Allen. It was a reminder of how uniquely dangerous he is-both through the air and on the ground. When he’s locked in like he was against the Bengals, there’s not a defense in the league that can fully contain him.

Allen’s Week 14 performance was the latest in a season that’s already seen him take home Player of the Week honors in Weeks 1 and 11. He also earned the FedEx Air and Ground award back in Week 1 and leads the league with five nominations for that honor this season. As part of the award, FedEx will donate $2,000 to Feed More Western New York in his name.

And it’s not just Allen getting recognition in Buffalo. Running back James Cook earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week earlier this season, and cornerback Christian Benford took home AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his standout showing against the Steelers in Week 13.

With the Patriots coming to town next, the Bills are riding high-and Allen is once again at the center of it all, rewriting record books and leading Buffalo’s playoff push with the kind of dual-threat dominance that’s become his signature.
