James Cook Brings Youth Football Camp To Central New York This Summer

Fresh off a record-breaking season, NFL rushing leader James Cook is bringing his skills and star power to young athletes in Central New York this summer.

James Cook is bringing his talents - and his top-tier rushing résumé - to Central New York this summer, giving young football players a chance to learn from one of the NFL’s best.

The Buffalo Bills star running back, who led the league with 1,621 rushing yards in 2025, will host two youth football camps in early July. First up is a stop at Alumni Stadium at East Middle School in Binghamton on July 6, followed by a camp at Cicero-North Syracuse High School on July 7. The Binghamton camp runs from noon to 4 p.m. and costs $165, while the Syracuse-area session goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is priced at $220.

Both camps are open to kids ages 6 through 16, regardless of experience level. Whether your child is just picking up a football for the first time or already dreams of Friday night lights, Cook’s camp is designed to offer something for everyone. Participants will be grouped by age and rotate through skill stations and interactive drills, all under the guidance of Cook and a team of experienced coaches.

And this isn’t just a photo op. Cook, who just became the first Bills player to lead the league in rushing since 1976, will be hands-on throughout the day - working with campers, demonstrating techniques, and sharing insights from his journey to the NFL. Coming off his third straight Pro Bowl season, Cook knows what it takes to succeed at the highest level, and he’s bringing that knowledge directly to the next generation.

Campers are encouraged to wear athletic gear - think gym shorts, T-shirts, and either cleats or sneakers - and come ready to move. Each participant will receive a limited-edition camp T-shirt and a team photo with Cook, which will be emailed after the event.

Registration is open now, but spots are limited and prices may increase as availability tightens. Families signing up multiple children should register each camper individually.

For young players looking to sharpen their skills, meet an NFL star, and soak up some football wisdom from one of the league’s elite backs, this is a rare opportunity - and it’s happening right in their backyard.
