Hailee Steinfeld Gave Bills Fans A Rare Josh Allen Moment

Actress Hailee Steinfeld made headlines with an exuberant display of support for her husband, quarterback Josh Allen, in a pivotal match against the Los Angeles Rams.

Hailee Steinfeld finally gave Bills fans something they had not seen much of before on Monday night: a full-on reaction shot.

During Buffalo’s Week 5 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, ESPN caught Steinfeld in a suite after Josh Allen ripped off a 21-yard run on second-and-17 during the Bills’ last drive. She was cheering, pointing, jumping and clapping as Allen pushed Buffalo forward in a game that turned into a shootout between two Super Bowl hopefuls and the league’s last two MVPs, Matthew Stafford and Allen.

Steinfeld also let the moment spill over in a way that made the clip travel fast. She yelled, “Go Josh!

Let’s go, Josh! Let’s f*cking go!!!”

The reaction was notable partly because Steinfeld has rarely, if ever, been shown during a Bills game. When ESPN came back to her later, it appeared she may have been trying to stay out of the spotlight.

That stands in contrast to the way Taylor Swift has been featured in suites during many Chiefs games, a visibility level that has drawn plenty of attention. Steinfeld, despite being a famous actress for much of the last two decades, had largely been absent from the TV shots until this one. She and Allen had their first child earlier this year.

For Bills fans, the clip offered the clearest public sign yet that Steinfeld is all-in on Buffalo. Before Monday night, the only real hint of her rooting interest beyond being married to the quarterback was a decade-old post celebrating the Denver Broncos’ Super Bowl win.

Bills O-Line Suddenly Has A Josh Allen Problem Fans Will Watch

The Bills spent part of Monday night shuffling up front after starting right tackle Spencer Brown left the Week 5 game against the Rams and was checked on the sideline. Browns exit sent reserve tackle Tylan Grable into the game, a move that immediately put a spotlight on Buffalos protection issues and how quickly the offense can feel the impact when one edge spot gets unsettled.

For a team built around Josh Allens ability to extend plays and attack downfield, the right tackle situation is one to monitor closely. Buffalo had not yet provided a firm update on Browns condition, leaving his availability uncertain and creating one more thing for the Bills to sort out coming out of a physical night. [Read more 🡒]

Bills Bring A Crucial Week 5 Edge Into Rams Matchup

The Bills head into Monday Night Football with a cleaner injury picture than the Rams, which matters as they prepare to host a Los Angeles team already dealing with key absences on both sides of the ball. Buffalos matchup with the Rams comes with the usual prime-time attention, but the early edge on the availability report is part of the story here, especially as the teams work through their final injury designations before kickoff.

Buffalo has only one player listed as questionable, safety Quentin Lake, while the Rams are carrying a longer and more complicated list. Joshua Palmer and Ed Oliver are among the players ruled out, and Dee Alford, Landon Jackson and DJ Moore remain questionable, leaving Los Angeles with more uncertainty than the Bills as the game approaches. For Buffalo, that kind of Week 5 advantage could loom large in a matchup where every lineup decision matters. [Read more 🡒]

Bills Fans Have A Growing C.J. Gardner-Johnson Problem

C.J. Gardner-Johnson arrived in Buffalo with a reputation that came with him, and the first few weeks have only kept his name in the conversation. After making a controversial comment about Patriots receiver Efton Chism III following a game-winning touchdown catch, he was back in the spotlight in the next game against the Rams, where the Bills were reminded that his game can swing from flashy to costly in a hurry.

The play on the field has become part of the larger concern around him, because Buffalo has seen both the value and the volatility in real time. Gardner-Johnsons past shows he can help a defense, but if the execution and the discipline do not settle down, the Bills may find themselves facing the same uncomfortable question other teams have before: whether he is a fit for the long haul or someone who could be on the move again.
