Browns Stun Fans by Bringing Back Punter Corey Bojorquez

The Cleveland Browns secure their special teams unit by re-signing punter Corey Bojorquez with a new multi-year deal.

The Cleveland Browns are keeping their special teams steady by re-signing punter Corey Bojorquez. At 29, Bojorquez has carved out a solid career in the NFL, starting as an undrafted free agent from New Mexico. His journey began with the Patriots in 2018, but after being waived, he quickly found a home with the Buffalo Bills.

During his three seasons in Buffalo, Bojorquez established himself as a reliable punter. This led to a one-year, $1 million deal with the Rams. However, he never took the field for Los Angeles, as they traded him to the Green Bay Packers before he could make an impact.

In April 2022, the Browns brought Bojorquez on board, and he’s been a fixture ever since. His performance earned him a two-year extension before the 2024 season, underscoring the team's confidence in his abilities.

In the 2025 season, Bojorquez played in all 17 games, showcasing his skills with 4,165 yards on 91 punts, averaging 45.8 yards per attempt. Notably, he pinned opponents inside the 20-yard line 23 times, a testament to his precision and strategic impact on field position. Bojorquez's consistency and ability to flip the field make him an invaluable asset to the Browns' special teams unit.
