Breiden Fehoko had plenty to say after the Buffalo Bills hosted the Detroit Lions on Thursday night, and his criticism had nothing to do with the final score.
The former LSU teammate of Joe Burrow took issue with the Canadian national anthem being sung before the Bills’ Week 2 game at New York’s new Highmark Stadium. Buffalo beat Detroit 41-31, but Fehoko made his frustration clear on Friday.
“The fact that we allowed the Canadian national anthem on American soil last night was disrespectful... Stop trynna be inclusive,” Fehoko tweeted.
Fehoko and Burrow were part of LSU’s national title team in the 2019 season before both moved on to the NFL. Burrow went No. 1 to the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2020 draft, while Fehoko went undrafted.
On the field, Buffalo got a big night from Josh Allen, who completed 20 of 31 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns while also running for 69 yards and two scores on 14 carries. James Cook added 135 rushing yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.
Detroit’s Jared Goff was sharp as well, finishing 26 of 38 for 327 yards and four touchdowns.
Elsewhere in the AFC picture, Burrow’s Bengals are set to face the Houston Texans in Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season on Sunday. That game is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The Bengals-Texans matchup will air on CBS, with streaming available on Fubo and Paramount+. Cincinnati opened the season with a 33-27 win over the Buccaneers and will try to keep that momentum going in Houston.
