Buffalo Bills wide receiver D.J. Moore is trending toward a Sunday return, but his shoulder injury still leaves his status hanging in the balance for the Week 6 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Moore, who has been dealing with an AC joint injury in his shoulder, missed Monday’s win over the Los Angeles Rams. It snapped a streak of more than 90 consecutive games played and marked the first time he had been sidelined since the 2020 season. After sitting out practice earlier in the week, he is officially questionable heading into Sunday.
There is at least one encouraging sign: Moore was back on the practice field Friday, which gives him a better shot at suiting up in this AFC matchup.
Even when he has been on the field, he has not looked fully like himself since the Week 2 injury against the Detroit Lions. He aggravated the shoulder issue again in Week 4, caught just one pass, and then exited.
Overall, Moore has 12 catches on 20 targets for 178 yards and a touchdown this season. He opened strong with Josh Allen, piling up 100 receiving yards in Week 1, but the last few weeks have been far more uneven.
He has played fewer than 70 percent of the snaps in each of his last three games.
That uncertainty makes him a dangerous play in the betting market. Moore has only two games this season with more than one reception, and the shoulder problem has already knocked him out of Week 2 and Week 4.
Still, DraftKings Sportsbook is treating him like a real possibility to play, posting multiple props for the former first-round pick. His lines are set at 3.5 receptions, with the OVER at -129, 47.5 receiving yards with the OVER at -114, and +235 to score a touchdown against the Raiders.
The matchup isn’t a bad one on paper, either. The Raiders defense sits 25th in the NFL in EPA/Pass. Even so, bettors may be better off staying away from Moore’s props until there’s more certainty around his shoulder and his workload.
Odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.

Bills Mock Draft Outlook Highlights A Defensive Need Fans Know Too Well
The Bills enter Week 6 at 4-1 and still look like one of the AFCs most complete teams on offense, with Josh Allen driving the show as they get ready for the Raiders. The defense, though, remains the familiar concern, sitting near the bottom of the league in several areas and keeping the conversation centered on whether Buffalo will use the draft to reinforce that side of the ball.
One recent mock draft points in that direction, linking Buffalo to Notre Dame safety Brauntae Johnson with the No. 29 pick. It is only a projection at this stage, but it underscores how often the Bills are being tied to help in the secondary as the season unfolds and the front office weighs where the biggest long-term fix might be. Bills Fans Have An Unusual AFC East Rooting Interest This Week
Buffalo heads into Week 6 in a good spot, sitting atop the AFC East at 4-1 and preparing for the Raiders, but there is a small piece of scoreboard watching that could matter just as much as what happens in Las Vegas. The Jets and Patriots meet in a separate division game, and for Bills fans, the matchup carries an unusual twist: the result could shift the pecking order behind Buffalo while the Bills try to keep building separation.
It is also not a simple ask for New York. The Patriots have owned this matchup for years, and the numbers suggest the Jets are still chasing them on both sides of the ball. So while Buffalo can focus on its own game, there is a real division subplot sitting in the background, one that could either help the Bills protect their lead or leave the standings a lot tighter heading into the next stretch. Bills Injury Decisions Just Reshaped This Raiders Matchup
Buffalo went into its Week 6 matchup with Las Vegas carrying a long injury report, with 15 players listed and five of them tagged questionable. Even with some key absences looming, the Bills did not bring up any practice squad reinforcements, leaving the roster picture to sort itself out on game day.
The final inactive list included D.J. Moore and Ed Oliver, a combination that changes the feel of this matchup on both sides of the ball. There was better news elsewhere, though, as Joshua Palmer and Dee Alford were back on the active roster, giving Buffalo a couple of available pieces as it tried to manage the fallout from an injury-heavy week.
