The second week of the 2026 NFL preseason keeps rolling Saturday, and the spotlight is on a handful of quarterbacks getting their first meaningful game action of the summer.
Jayden Daniels is set to make his preseason debut when the Commanders visit the Lions to open the day. It will be the first chance to see Daniels in a game setting with new offensive coordinator David Blough.
Later in the early window, Shedeur Sanders gets another big opportunity in Cleveland, where he will start for the Browns against the Bills at 1 p.m. ET. Deshaun Watson opened last week for the Browns, so Sanders has a chance to make his case in the quarterback battle.
Saturday’s slate is packed beyond those two games. The Ravens meet the Vikings and the Falcons take on the Colts at 1 p.m. ET, before the schedule shifts to the 4 p.m. window with the Saints at the Rams and the Giants at the Dolphins.
The evening brings more action, with the Bears facing the Bengals and the Eagles playing the Patriots at 7 p.m. ET.
The Chiefs and Buccaneers follow at 7:30 p.m. ET, and the day wraps with the Cowboys at the Cardinals at 10 p.m.
ET.
There are still plenty of questions about how much starting talent will actually see the field, especially with many teams coming off joint practices. Even so, the stakes are real across the league, with starting jobs, depth roles and roster spots all up for grabs.
Preseason Week 2 has already delivered a few results, too. The Raiders beat the Texans 22-20 on Thursday, while the 49ers rolled past the Chargers 41-17. On Friday, the Jets shut out the Steelers 17-0, the Panthers topped the Jaguars 34-17 and the Packers handled the Broncos 33-13.
Sunday’s lone game features the Seahawks at the Titans at 8 p.m. ET.
