"When you hear these stories, they'll tell you that you sometimes won't know where you wake up," Wolf remarked, highlighting the disorienting nature of the NBA grind.
Yet, the rigorous travel hasn't hindered Wolf's performance, especially on the road. He notched his second-highest scoring game with 22 points against the Bucks in Milwaukee and delivered double-doubles against both the Grizzlies and the 76ers.
As Brooklyn’s 27th pick, Wolf has stepped up amid injuries to key players like Michael Porter Jr. and Egor Dëmin. In March, he’s been averaging 10.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists over 22.8 minutes per game.
A significant factor in Wolf's development has been his stint with the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn's G League affiliate. There, he seized the opportunity to refine his skills, averaging an impressive 20.3 points and 10.3 rebounds. "I realized I probably wasn't going to play much at the start of the year," Wolf noted, emphasizing how the G League allowed him to hone his craft.
Coach Jordi Fernández has been utilizing Wolf’s size and skill effectively. At 6-foot-11, Wolf brings a solid presence in the paint, averaging 4.9 rebounds this season. Fernández has praised Wolf's defensive improvements, particularly his ability to switch and make smart plays.
