While this roster might not feature names like Roman Anthony or Marcelo Mayer, it does boast elite prospects like shortstop Franklin Arias and pitcher Kyson Witherspoon. Arias has made appearances in past spring trainings, but for many fans, this will be the first opportunity to see Witherspoon in action. These two are sure to draw plenty of attention.
However, keep an eye on shortstop Dorian Soto. At just 18, Soto has yet to make his debut stateside, but his performance in the Dominican Summer League-highlighted by a .307/.362/.428 slash line-has certainly turned heads.
Standing tall at 6-3, this switch-hitting infielder is packed with potential. While he might not be making waves in the big leagues just yet, watching his development is sure to be a thrilling journey.
