Six Boston College Standouts Earn 2025 ACC All-Academic Honors
In a season where Boston College volleyball continued to build momentum on the court, six Eagles are now being recognized for their excellence in the classroom as well. The ACC announced that six BC student-athletes have been named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team - a nod to the kind of balance and discipline that defines a successful collegiate program.
Senior Anna Herrington headlines the group, earning her second straight All-Academic selection. A steady presence on the court and in the classroom, Herrington’s back-to-back recognition reflects a level of consistency that coaches and teammates alike can count on.
Junior standouts Sam Hoppes and Brooklyn Yelland each earned the honor for the third consecutive year - a rare feat that speaks to their sustained academic and athletic commitment. To be recognized three years running in a conference as competitive as the ACC is no small accomplishment. Sophomore teammates Danica Rach and Aubrey Moore made the list for the first time, signaling a strong foundation for what could be multiple years of recognition ahead. To qualify for the ACC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA both in the previous semester and cumulatively over their academic careers.
