In a thrilling conclusion to the Hockey East season, the awards ceremony on Thursday shone a spotlight on some standout performances, with James Hagens taking center stage as a finalist for the prestigious Hockey East Player of the Year. Hagens, who dominated the league as the scoring champion and clinched the Three Stars Award, was rightfully named to the First Team.

His impressive tally of 28 points, consisting of 13 goals and 15 assists, showcased his offensive prowess. Consistency was key for Hagens, as he notched points in 20 out of 24 league games, including a memorable hat trick against UConn.

The Eagles' talent didn't stop there. Dean Letourneau and Lukas Gustafsson earned spots on the Third Team All-Stars, each bringing their unique strengths to the ice.

Letourneau was a force to be reckoned with, finishing third in goals and tying for fourth in points. His standout moment came with a two-goal performance against UMass Lowell.

Meanwhile, Gustafsson, a reliable presence in all 24 league games, contributed significantly from the blue line. His overtime game-winner at UConn was a season highlight, securing crucial points for the Eagles.

Adding to the accolades, Luka Radivojevic was named to the Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team. His 12 assists, the highest for a freshman defender, underscored his playmaking abilities and potential for future success.

Will Vote's recognition with the Len Ceglarski Individual Sportsmanship Award further emphasized the Eagles' well-rounded excellence both on and off the ice.

The awards not only celebrate individual achievements but also reflect the collective strength and potential of the Eagles as they look forward to building on this successful season.
