Boston College’s next home date is locked in.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that the Eagles’ November 7 game against Florida State will start at noon ET at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill and air nationally on ACC Network. It gives Boston College another early kickoff as the calendar turns to the final month of the 2026 regular season.
The Eagles head into the week at 4-3 overall and 2-2 in ACC play after Saturday’s 49-27 win over Georgia Tech. That victory was Boston College’s second straight, coming on the heels of a win over Pitt. Before Florida State arrives, the Eagles still have a trip to Durham this Saturday to face Duke.
Florida State comes in at 3-4 overall and 1-3 in ACC play after back-to-back conference losses to Louisville and Miami. The latest setback was a 43-35 double-overtime defeat to the Hurricanes on October 17. The Seminoles will host Clemson on October 31 before making the trip to Chestnut Hill.
The series has long leaned Florida State’s way. The Seminoles lead 17-5 all-time, though Boston College grabbed the most recent matchup, a 28-13 win in Tallahassee on September 2, 2024. That game marked Bill O’Brien’s debut as Boston College’s head coach.
The last time Florida State visited Alumni Stadium, the Seminoles slipped out with a 31-29 win in 2023. Boston College’s last home win over Florida State came in 2017, when the Eagles rolled to a 35-3 victory in Chestnut Hill.
Friday, November 6 will feature a full slate of ACC action, including Clemson at Syracuse at noon ET on ESPN2, North Carolina at UConn at noon ET on CBS Sports Network, Duke at NC State at 12:30 p.m. ET on The CW, Merrimack at Wake Forest at 3:30 p.m.
ET on ACC Network, Louisville at Georgia Tech at 7:30 p.m. ET on ACC Network, and Miami at Notre Dame at 7:30 p.m.
ET on NBC and Peacock.

Armoni Zeigler Gave Boston College Its First Real Highlight Moment
For a Boston College team that spent most of the night separating itself from MIT on the scoreboard, Armoni Zeigler supplied the kind of play that can stick with a crowd long after the final horn. The senior guard came off the bench for 23 minutes and finished with eight points in the Eagles 90-46 win, but the real jolt came on a steal that turned into a clean path to the basket and a one-handed finish that gave the game its first real burst of energy.
Zeigler has seen enough college basketball to know a single highlight does not change the shape of a night, yet it can still matter in the flow of a game like this. For Boston College, the play was a reminder that even in a lopsided win, the bench can provide the kind of spark that gets attention, and Zeigler was the one who delivered it. [Read more 🡒]
Boston College Just Found Momentum Before Two Tough ACC Road Tests
Boston College volleyball gave itself a timely lift with a four-set win over Virginia, taking control early with convincing set scores of 25-19 and 25-12 before weathering a setback in the third. Audrey Ross paced the Eagles throughout the night, while Sam Hoppes, Isabelle Poehlein, Reese Dunkle and Brooklyn Yelland all played important supporting roles in a match that showed Boston College can find answers when a conference opponent starts pushing back.
The timing matters, too, because the Eagles are heading straight into a difficult stretch on the road with trips to Duke and UNC next. A result like this can travel well if Boston College carries the same balance and edge away from home, especially after a match in which it had to steady itself after Virginia clawed back into the middle of the contest. Boston Colleges Georgia Tech Breakout Put Three Young Eagles In Focus
Boston Colleges 49-27 win over Georgia Tech did more than get the Eagles back on track in the ACC. It also put three young players in the conference spotlight, with Bo MacCormack III earning running back of the week honors, Charlie Comella taking defensive back of the week, and Veguer Jean-Jumeau recognized for his work up front.
MacCormack turned in a breakout with 155 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Comellas two interceptions gave the defense the kind of momentum-changing plays that can swing a game in a hurry. Jean-Jumeaus week was built less on highlight-reel moments than on steady impact along the offensive line, which helped Boston College move to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the league and gave the program a glimpse of how much young talent is starting to surface.
