Boston College is making noise with a pair of major recruiting targets, and both names are worth tracking as the Eagles build toward the next couple of classes.
One of the biggest updates came Wednesday, when four-star guard Antonio Pemberton trimmed his list to eight schools. Boston College made the cut alongside UCLA, Creighton, Marquette, Tennessee, Ohio State, Kansas, and Michigan. More rounds of cuts are still ahead, but for now the Eagles are firmly in the hunt.
Pemberton is the top player in Massachusetts, according to 247Sports, and he also checks in as the No. 8 point guard and No. 33 player nationally. He made his mark with Mass Rivals AAU on the 3SSB circuit, where he averaged 24 points per game and earned Offensive MVP honors.
Boston College also stayed alive with another 2027 guard, Tre Keith, who announced his final six schools last week. The Eagles are in that group with Clemson, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, St. Louis, and Virginia Tech.
Keith, a 6-foot-2 guard from Tri-Cities High School in Atlanta, is climbing quickly in the class. 247Sports lists him as the No. 6 player in Georgia and No. 60 in the country. His offensive production has driven that rise, and he backed it up this summer on the 3SSB circuit by averaging 20.3 points per game for AE5.
Keith has an official visit to Boston College set for Sept. 25, and it will be his second visit after he was at Clemson two weeks earlier.
The Eagles are not limiting their attention to 2027, either. In the 2028 class, four-star forward Payton Wilson is drawing plenty of interest as he enters his junior year. Wilson is ranked No. 1 overall in New York and has built a reputation for his energy on both ends of the court.
He posted double-doubles at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam and also received invitations to the Nike Elite 100 and Pangos All-American Camp.
