Boston College walks into ACC play with momentum to spare.
The Eagles, unbeaten at 7-0-0, host Syracuse on Sunday, Sept. 13, at noon at Newton Campus Soccer Field in Chestnut Hill. The game will stream live on ACCNX, and it comes on the heels of another convincing BC win: a 4-0 result over Boston University on Sept. 10.
That victory kept Boston College perfect and pushed the team to its best start since 2009. The offense did the heavy lifting again.
Ashley Roberts got the scoring going in the eighth minute off a Sophie Reale assist, Addyson Kalaw made it 2-0 in the 28th minute with Reale setting her up again, and Reale then added a goal of her own in the 53rd minute off an assist from Alex Schoenstadt. Nicollette Kiorpes finished the job just over a minute later.
Reale turned in the kind of stat line that grabs attention: one goal and three assists. Kiorpes and Kalaw also found the net, while BC controlled the game with a 21-13 shot edge and a 10-4 advantage in corners.
Olivia Shippee stopped six shots in 80:14 before Faith Fenwick came on for the final 9:46 and made one save. It was Boston College’s second shutout of the season.
The numbers through seven games tell the story of a team that has started fast and kept pressing. BC has scored 24 goals and allowed only five, with goals in every game so far.
The Eagles have piled up 128 shots and 60 corner kicks while allowing 68 shots and 28 corners. They’ve also been ruthless in the final third, collecting 22 assists on 24 goals.
Kiorpes leads the way with six goals and 12 points. Emily Mara has four goals and four assists for 12 points, Addyson Kalaw has five goals and one assist for 11 points, and Reale has three goals and five assists for 11 points, including her four-point night against Boston University.
Sunday’s matchup kicks off a 10-game ACC schedule for Boston College, which enters conference play unbeaten and riding a seven-game winning streak to open the 2026 campaign. The Eagles are averaging 3.43 goals per game and allowing 0.71, while putting up 18.3 shots and 8.6 corner kicks per game and limiting opponents to 9.7 shots per game.
Syracuse comes in at 3-2-2 after a 1-0 loss at Binghamton on Sept. 3.
The Orange have scored eight goals and allowed four across seven games, averaging 1.14 goals per game. They’ve taken 76 shots, put 35 on goal, and earned 30 corner kicks.
Vickie Jones leads Syracuse with three goals and six points. Abby Incorvaia has two goals and two assists for six points, while Farrah Stephens, Moo Galbus and Jasmine Nixon each have two points. In goal, Maya Naimoli has started six games and owns a 0.33 goals-against average and .913 save percentage, with 21 saves and four shutouts.
This is the 20th all-time meeting between the programs. Boston College leads the series 13-4-2 and has won the last two matchups, including a 1-0 win at Syracuse on Oct.

Syracuse and Boston College first met in 1996, and Syracuse lists BC as its most frequent opponent with 20 previous meetings entering Sunday.
After Syracuse, Boston College heads to Notre Dame on Friday, Sept. 18, for a 7 p.m. match in its first ACC road game of the season. The Eagles then return home on Thursday, Sept. 24, to host California at 6 p.m. at Newton Campus Soccer Field.
