Boston College field hockey will open its 2026 regular season with a 17-game schedule that brings Maryland, Northwestern and the rest of the ACC into the mix.
The Eagles have two road scrimmages lined up before the games count for real, visiting UMass on Aug. 13 and UConn on Aug. 22.
BC’s home schedule is a busy one, with nine games at home and the season opener set for Aug. 28 against Providence. Two days later, the Eagles will welcome UAlbany before turning to the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge. That stretch includes Duke, Northwestern and Maryland, with BC set to play Maryland on Sept. 4 and then host defending national champion Northwestern the following Sunday.
The first major road run begins with a neutral-site game against Maine at UMass Lowell, the start of five straight away from home. Boston College will then head to Harvard on Sept. 13, open ACC play at Louisville on Sept. 18, and close out that trip with games against Ohio State on Sept. 20 and Duke on Sept. 27.
After that, the Eagles come back to Chestnut Hill for a four-game homestand. Wake Forest visits on Oct.
2, Northeastern follows on Oct. 4, and Virginia and Boston University are next on Oct. 9 and Oct. 11.
BC finishes the regular season with North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Oct. 16, then home dates against Cal on Oct. 23 and Stanford on Oct. 25, before wrapping things up at Syracuse on Oct. 30.
