Eagles Poised for a Top Finish as Rivalries Heat Up at Surf Club Invitational

In North Myrtle Beach, Boston College Men's Golf team is making waves at the Surf Club Invitational, hosted by Appalachian State. After the first day of competition, the Eagles are positioned at Xth place, having shot an impressive 6-under. However, as darkness fell, the second round was paused and will continue tomorrow morning.

Leading the charge for BC are junior Markus Lam and senior Jack Pogorelc, both sitting at 3-under and tied for 12th place midway through the second round. Their performance was highlighted by each recording an eagle, showcasing their skill on the course.

Freshman Tony Yin also delivered a solid performance, finishing the round at even par, placing him in a tie for 36th. His six birdies in the afternoon were a testament to his potential and promise as a newcomer. Close behind, Tommy Mangan finished at 1-over, tying for 45th place, while freshman Connor Chisum completed the lineup.
