Boston College’s 90-46 win over MIT on Sunday had the kind of margin that makes the final score easy to forget. Armoni Zeigler made sure one play would stick.
The senior guard came off the bench, logged 23 minutes and finished with eight points. But his best moment had nothing to do with the box score. It came after he picked off a pass, pushed the other way and took flight for a one-handed dunk that turned a routine fastbreak into the kind of highlight that travels fast.
MIT’s Eric Wentz was right there as Zeigler approached the rim, and even got a hand at the ball as he tried to recover. He missed, kept moving forward and ended up in the worst possible spot as Zeigler rose over him and finished the play.
The result was ugly for Wentz and electric for everyone else. The crowd erupted, and even children started to run onto the court. Wentz could only stand there with his hands on his head after being posterized.
The dunk was unintentional, but it was brutal all the same. And because it counted as an and-one, the play carried that extra sting. For MIT, it was a rough moment in a game that had already gotten away.
It also fit the kind of mismatch that produced it. You do not expect to show up at MIT and wind up on the wrong side of a dunk like that. The school is built for engineers, not poster materials.

Boston College Just Found Momentum Before Two Tough ACC Road Tests
Boston College volleyball gave itself a timely lift with a four-set win over Virginia, taking control early with convincing set scores of 25-19 and 25-12 before weathering a setback in the third. Audrey Ross paced the Eagles throughout the night, while Sam Hoppes, Isabelle Poehlein, Reese Dunkle and Brooklyn Yelland all played important supporting roles in a match that showed Boston College can find answers when a conference opponent starts pushing back.
The timing matters, too, because the Eagles are heading straight into a difficult stretch on the road with trips to Duke and UNC next. A result like this can travel well if Boston College carries the same balance and edge away from home, especially after a match in which it had to steady itself after Virginia clawed back into the middle of the contest. Boston Colleges Georgia Tech Breakout Put Three Young Eagles In Focus
Boston Colleges 49-27 win over Georgia Tech did more than get the Eagles back on track in the ACC. It also put three young players in the conference spotlight, with Bo MacCormack III earning running back of the week honors, Charlie Comella taking defensive back of the week, and Veguer Jean-Jumeau recognized for his work up front.
MacCormack turned in a breakout with 155 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Comellas two interceptions gave the defense the kind of momentum-changing plays that can swing a game in a hurry. Jean-Jumeaus week was built less on highlight-reel moments than on steady impact along the offensive line, which helped Boston College move to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the league and gave the program a glimpse of how much young talent is starting to surface. Bo MacCormack III added to the haul by earning Running Back of the Week, a nod that reflects how much Boston College leaned on its run game to take control.
