In a game where the spotlight was on Jaylen Brown's ejection, Jayson Tatum had his own moment of frustration during the Boston Celtics' clash with the San Antonio Spurs. The focus shifted when Tatum took issue with a non-call involving Victor Wembanyama.
As Tatum drove into the lane for a basket, he felt a noticeable shove from Wembanyama after the ball went through the hoop. Surprisingly, no foul was called, and Tatum didn't hold back in expressing his disbelief.

“I mean, me and the ref definitely had a talk about it. I'm like, how the f**k did you not see that!” Tatum exclaimed, echoing the sentiments of his teammate Derrick White, who had earlier criticized the technical fouls on Brown as “bullsh*t.”
"I was like, did you really not f***ing see that?"⬇️

The Jaylen Brown ejection wasn't the only call (or lack of one) that had the Celtics hot after last night's loss to #Spurs

Despite the controversy, Tatum delivered a standout performance, scoring a season-high 24 points in just his third game back from an Achilles injury. Meanwhile, Wembanyama dominated with a game-high 39 points.
Reflecting on Brown's ejection, Tatum voiced his disagreement, highlighting the importance of star players being available for prime-time games. “Emotions are here, so I can tell you, you've got to understand a national TV game between the best teams in the league.”
With Brown out, Tatum felt the pressure to step up, although his minutes were limited due to his recovery plan. “I can play more,” Tatum noted, balancing his competitive drive with the need to adhere to his recovery strategy.
Tatum logged 24 minutes in the Celtics' 125-116 loss, acknowledging the Spurs' prowess. “You've got to give them credit,” he said.
“They made some plays, they hit some big shots. I felt like we missed some shots that we normally make.
We competed to the very end. Guys stepped up in big ways.”
Praising the Spurs, Tatum added, “They're a fun team to watch. They're very competitive, and you can see exactly why they've had the season that they've had.”
This game might have been a tough loss for the Celtics, but Tatum's return and performance offered a glimpse of hope for the season ahead.
