Boise State’s 2026-27 men’s basketball schedule is loaded with variety, and the Broncos won’t have to wait long for the first real test.
The full non-conference slate was released Monday, giving a clear look at a schedule that includes 15 games before Boise State begins its 16-game Pac-12 stretch. Eight of those non-conference contests will be played at ExtraMile Arena, starting with West Coast Baptist on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
The first big home date comes just four days later, when Butler visits on Sunday, Nov. 8. That gives Boise State an early chance to measure itself against a marquee opponent in front of its own crowd.
There are also several neutral-site matchups that stand out on the calendar. The Broncos will face Nebraska on Nov. 15 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the Sanford Pentagon. Later in the year, Boise State gets a pair of games against Santa Clara and New Mexico on Dec. 21 and Dec. 23 at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, California.
Thanksgiving weekend brings another notable stop. Boise State is set to host the Snake River Collegiate Basketball Invitational in Idaho Falls, with Drake, North Dakota State and North Texas joining the four-team event.
The Broncos’ non-conference schedule also includes Sam Houston State and Idaho State at home, plus a road trip to Wichita State on Dec. 5. Other home dates on the slate are Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Utah Valley.

The Pac-12 picture Boise State is walking into is no small thing, either. The league will have nine teams next season: Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Oregon State, San Diego State, Texas State, Utah State and Washington State.
That group comes with plenty of weight. Gonzaga and San Diego State both reached the national title game in recent seasons, Oregon State made the Elite Eight in 2021, and Colorado State, Utah State and Washington State each have NCAA Tournament wins over the last three seasons.
Boise State may be stepping into that mix as a bit of a mystery team in Year 1 of the rebuilt conference. The Broncos are bringing back five new starters and have added several transfers, including guards Damari Wheeler-Thomas from North Dakota State and Lamar Washington from Georgia Tech, along with big men Dovydas Butka from Campbell and Jerquarius Stanback from Alabama State.
