Game week has finally arrived for the No. 2 Oregon Ducks, and the buzz around Saturday’s opener against Boise State at Autzen Stadium is already showing up in the secondary market.
Ticket prices for the Ducks’ first game of the season have taken a notable range, with the most expensive SeatGeek listing sitting at $639. On the lower end, fans can still get into Autzen for $76, though those numbers could shift before kickoff.
Oregon opens against Boise State in the fifth all-time meeting between the programs, and the matchup brings back a familiar memory from 2024, when the Ducks edged the Broncos 37-34 at Autzen Stadium in a showdown featuring Heisman Trophy finalists Dillon Gabriel and Ashton Jeanty.
Dan Lanning’s team enters the season carrying big expectations, and that kind of outlook usually comes with a premium for home games in Eugene. Oregon is viewed as one of the teams with the best chance to win the national championship this year, and Ducks fans are already acting like a crowd ready for a long run.
Lanning wants Autzen to sound like Autzen. He said, “What I’m counting on are our fans to show up, pack the place, make it a special environment like I always see at Autzen Stadium. So it’ll be fun to be out there on the field again with our guys and time to hit somebody else,” Lanning said.
The Ducks are a heavy favorite, listed by DraftKings Sportsbook as 24.5-point favorites over the Broncos. Still, Lanning made it clear this isn’t the kind of opponent Oregon can afford to treat casually.
“Remember the last time we played these guys, and really, they beat us in a lot of areas of the field. We were able to come away with the W because of special teams and some of that play. But it’s a really well-coached team,” Lanning said.
“Spencer does a great job of getting these guys ready. They play with the attitude and a toughness that shows up all over the film. They’ve got some really dynamic players that do a really good job, and it seems like it's a really cohesive unit,” Lanning continued.
Boise State is heading into its first season in the Ducks’ old conference, the Pac-12, and under coach Spencer Danielson it is considered one of the leading candidates to emerge as the Group of Five representative in the CFP this season. Even a loss on Saturday would not necessarily knock the Broncos out of that picture.
Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. PT on Saturday at Autzen Stadium, with CBS carrying the broadcast.
