The Bears, now 14-7, showcased their prowess by clinching the doubles point and securing three singles victories, leaving the Cowboys with matching 14-7 records.
Baylor's doubles teams set the tone early. Luc Koenig and Connor Van Schalkwyk delivered a solid 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles against Derek Pham and Charlie Valentine. Meanwhile, the No. 1 duo, Alexandru Chirita and Zsombor Velcz, sealed the doubles point with a tight 7-5 victory over Nicolas Kobelt and Aaron Williams.
Transitioning to singles, Baylor's momentum continued. Connor Van Schalkwyk, ranked No. 26, extended his winning streak to ten matches with a 6-3, 6-3 triumph over Pham at No. 3 singles.
Devin Badenhorst, ranked No. 14, added another point with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Alessio Basile at the top singles spot. The Cowboys managed to strike back at No. 5 singles, where Williams overcame Koenig in a three-set battle, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
The intensity peaked at No. 6 singles, where Louis Bowden edged out Haydar Gokpinar in a nail-biting three-setter, 1-6, 6-0, 7-6(6), sealing the victory for Baylor. Matches at No. 2 and No. 4 singles remained unfinished, with Velcz and Chirita locked in tight contests.
