CLEMSON, SC - Baylor softball showcased their prowess on Friday, with sophomore Karynton Dawson leading the charge in a 6-4 victory over the Lipscomb Bisons. Dawson's impressive four RBIs were crucial in pushing the Bears to their 10th win of the season.
On the mound, sophomore Lexie Warncke (2-0) delivered a solid performance. The right-hander pitched six innings, allowing three earned runs on three hits, while walking two and striking out five-just shy of her career high.
Dawson wasn't the only Bear making waves at the plate. Junior Abi Flores had a perfect day, going 2-for-2 and drawing a walk, while sophomore Faith Piper added an RBI with her single hit in three at-bats.

Baylor jumped ahead early, lighting up the scoreboard with three runs in the opening frame, thanks to a clutch two-RBI double from Dawson.
Though the Bisons managed to claw their way back to level the score at three, the Bears regained their footing in the fourth inning. Freshman Kaygen Marshall, after nabbing her first career stolen base, scored to give Baylor a 4-3 lead.
In the seventh, Dawson struck again, driving in Flores and senior Brooklyn Carter to extend the lead. Lipscomb attempted a late rally, adding a run in the bottom of the inning, but Peyton Tanner sealed the win with her second career save.
