LSU’s season opener had no shortage of fireworks, but one of the most chaotic scenes came far away from the actual game action.
Popular Kick streamer Snarp, known for his college football “rage-bait” videos, rolled into Baton Rouge with the same kind of provocations that helped him build an audience in the first place. He first made noise by wearing an LSU Tigers jersey in unfriendly territory and trolling fan bases such as Alabama and Ole Miss on their own turf. This time, he brought that act into the heart of LSU tailgate culture near Tiger Stadium, where the crowd was already thick, loud and ready for a long day.
Snarp and his crew worked the scene around the massive pregame gatherings, with his Kick chat watching live as he tried to stir up reactions from passionate LSU fans. Along the way, he interviewed some colorful locals and kept leaning into the confrontational pranks that have become his trademark. The result, predictably, was a tense and volatile set of clips.
In one moment, a visibly angry LSU fan got right in Snarp’s face. Then the situation escalated fast: the fan drew back his fist and punched the streamer.
Snarp hit the ground and reportedly suffered a broken jaw. Others quickly stepped in and pushed the man away before things got even worse.
The off-field chaos came on a day when LSU was doing plenty of damage on the field, too. The Tigers crushed Clemson 51-10 in the highly anticipated 2026 season opener at Tiger Stadium, a game that started later than planned after a severe two-hour lightning storm delayed kickoff.
Once the game finally got going, LSU overwhelmed Clemson from start to finish. The Tigers piled up 644 total yards of offense and got major production on the ground, with Sam Leavitt and running back Dilin Jones both topping 100 rushing yards and scoring two touchdowns apiece. LSU’s defense was just as dominant, holding Clemson to 145 total yards and a rough 1-for-13 on third downs.
The 41-point win gave Lane Kiffin a commanding debut as head coach.

Baylor Just Gave Fans Another Reason To Get To McLane Early
Baylor fans heading to McLane Stadium this fall will find a more built-out pregame scene waiting for them long before kickoff. Baylor Athletics announced an enhanced Touchdown Alley experience for home football games, adding more entertainment, activities and food options to the lead-in before games as the Bears continue trying to make the stadium atmosphere part of the draw.
The area will open three hours before kickoff and include performances, fan activities, food trucks and designated spaces like a Kids Zone and Cooling Zone. There will also be giveaways, sponsor activations and a separate tailgate for Baylor Club members, giving early arrivals a little more to do while they wait for the action on the field. [Read more 🡒]
Baylors Loss Still Revealed A Reason For Real Optimism
Baylors narrow loss to Auburn still offered a useful snapshot of where the Bears may be headed under the right kind of defensive pressure. Even in defeat, the defense looked far more disruptive than it had at times earlier in the season, getting into the backfield and forcing Auburn to work for everything while the offense endured a mixed afternoon that included solid pass protection but little room on the ground.
The more encouraging part for Baylor is that this came with Jacob Redding sidelined for the season, yet the secondary still found ways to make plays. Reggie Bush II and Micah Gifford stepped into bigger moments with interceptions, and with a manageable stretch of games ahead, the Bears have a path to turn this kind of performance into something more lasting if the defense keeps traveling in the right direction. Baylor Tennis Just Made A Hire That Could Shape Its Next Step
Baylor mens tennis has added Tripp Tuff to its staff as an assistant coach, a move announced by head coach Michael Woodson as the program continues building under his direction. Tuff brings a varied background to Waco, including time as an assistant coach with Northwesterns womens program and a previous stint as head coach at Hofstra.
His path to Baylor is also an unusual one for a college tennis coach. Tuff played at DePaul and earned degrees in neuroscience and public health, a blend of academics and experience that should give Woodson another well-rounded voice in the program as the Bears look to keep moving forward.
