In a thrilling display of acrobatics and tumbling, the top-ranked Baylor Bears put on a clinic against No. 8 UMHB at the Ferrell Center, securing a commanding victory by 30.44 points. With two perfect 10s highlighting their performance, the Bears showcased why they're a force to be reckoned with.

From the get-go, Baylor set the tone in the Compulsory event. Despite UMHB's solid start, the Bears capitalized on their skills, winning the Pyramid and Toss heats with scores of 9.80 and 9.95, respectively. By the end of the first event, Baylor led 38.15 to UMHB's 33.05.
In the Acro event, Baylor's precision shone through. Sophia Criado and Ellie LaNeve teamed up for a flawless 10/10, outshining UMHB's 9.70. The Bears continued their dominance in the synchronized and third heats, extending their lead to 66.45 to 61.10.
The Pyramid event saw Baylor debut a new skill: the 3 high slide to split pyramid. With Leavy McDonald and Mo Arthur as the base, the Bears executed a stunning routine, earning a 9.95 and pushing their advantage to 96.25 to 90.20 at halftime.
Second Half Surge
Baylor didn't let up in the Toss event. Washington and Tannehill's perfect 10 capped off a stellar performance, increasing the Bears' lead to 125.55 to 118.0. The Tumbling event was no different, with Emily Bott and Lawrence Owens scoring a remarkable 9.60, contributing to a 57.80 total for the event.
In the final Team event, Baylor sealed the deal with a 97.70 score, finishing the meet at 281.05 to UMHB's 250.61. The Bears lost only one heat, underscoring their dominance.
