The Ravens came out of Friday’s workout session with two familiar additions, including a return for wide receiver Chris Moore and an expected signing of veteran offensive tackle Hakeem Adeniji.
Moore is headed back to Baltimore after first joining the team as a 2017 fourth-round pick. He spent his first five seasons with the Ravens, playing in 61 games and carving out a niche that looked a lot like a forerunner to Tylan Wallace: a rotational receiver who did plenty of dirty work as a run blocker and logged heavy special teams snaps.
Since leaving Baltimore in 2020, Moore has bounced around the league and put together a few useful stretches along the way. He spent two seasons in Houston and turned in a career-best 2024 season with 48 catches for 548 yards.
The next year, he gave the Titans a reliable vertical element, finishing with 424 yards on only 22 receptions. Moore then played five games for the Cardinals in 2024 before injuries pushed him into a bigger role with the Commanders, where he played 429 snaps over 14 appearances last season.
Baltimore is also set to add Adeniji, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The veteran lineman entered the league as a Bengals sixth-round pick in 2020 and spent his first three seasons in Cincinnati bouncing between right guard and both tackle spots.
He was waived during roster cuts in 2023, then landed with the Vikings but did not take an offensive snap that season. Adeniji signed with the Browns in 2024 but missed the year because of a knee injury, and last season with the Cowboys he made one start at left guard and also saw a handful of snaps at left tackle.
