Ravens Rally as Lamar Jackson Hits Key TD to Narrow Steelers Lead

Lamar Jacksons third-quarter touchdown pass has the Ravens closing in on the Steelers after a double-digit deficit.

The Ravens didn’t come out of the gate firing, but they’ve clawed their way back into this one-and they’ve got momentum on their side.

After falling behind by 14 early, Baltimore finally found some rhythm in the third quarter. Lamar Jackson connected with tight end Isaiah Likely on a four-yard touchdown strike, capping a much-needed drive that brought the Ravens within striking distance. With 7:35 left in the third, the scoreboard now reads 20-16, and suddenly, this game feels wide open.

The real spark came from rookie running back Keaton Mitchell, who continues to show he’s more than just a change-of-pace option. Mitchell ripped off a 55-yard run that flipped the field and set the Ravens up deep in Pittsburgh territory. He’s been explosive all afternoon, racking up 76 yards on just six carries-a blistering pace that’s keeping the Steelers’ defense on its heels.

On the other side, the Steelers opened the second half with a promising drive of their own. Aaron Rodgers found DK Metcalf for a 41-yard gain, a vintage deep shot that put Pittsburgh in scoring position. But the drive stalled from there-Rodgers missed on back-to-back throws, forcing the Steelers to settle for a field goal instead of putting the game further out of reach.

Now, with Baltimore within four and the offense heating up, this AFC North clash is shaping up to go the distance. The Ravens have shaken off the slow start, and if Mitchell keeps gashing the defense like this, Pittsburgh’s lead may not last much longer.
