Ravens Linked to New Star WR in Exciting Mock Draft Prediction

Ravens aim to boost offensive firepower by targeting wide receiver Jordyn Tyson in the latest mock draft, complementing standout Zay Flowers.

As the Ravens kick off their off-season, they've made a significant move by bringing in Jesse Minter as the fourth head coach in franchise history. With this new leadership in place, the team is gearing up for a busy period, focusing on free agency and securing a contract extension for Lamar Jackson. But there's another crucial task on the horizon: preparing for the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.

Baltimore has some clear needs to address, particularly along the offensive line. With two of the league's lower-rated guards on their roster, bolstering the trenches is a top priority. In Daniel Jeremiah's initial mock draft, he projected the Ravens would snag Penn State's standout guard, Olaivavega Ioane, known for his road-grading prowess.

However, in Jeremiah's latest mock draft, he's shifted gears, suggesting the Ravens might focus on enhancing their aerial attack. He now envisions Baltimore selecting Jordyn Tyson, a big-bodied wide receiver from Arizona State, as the 14th overall pick. Tyson's addition would provide a dynamic complement to Zay Flowers, giving the Ravens' new coaching staff more offensive firepower.

Tyson is a physical presence on the field, though his college career was marred by injuries, including a hamstring issue that sidelined him for three games in 2025. Despite these setbacks, he managed to haul in 61 receptions for 711 yards and eight touchdowns last season. The year before, he was instrumental in Arizona State's push to the College Football Playoffs, amassing 75 catches for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns, with an impressive average of 14.7 yards per catch.

With these potential moves, the Ravens are looking to strengthen both their offensive line and receiving corps, setting the stage for a promising season under new leadership.
