Ravens Eye Explosive WR Jordyn Tyson in New Mock Draft Reveal

Ravens eye Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson to bolster their receiving corps in a transformative draft strategy under new head coach Jesse Minter.

The Ravens are gearing up for an exciting off-season, with significant changes already in motion. With Jesse Minter stepping in as the new head coach, the team is poised for a fresh start.

As we look ahead to April's NFL draft, Baltimore is keen on adding some explosive talent across the board. While there are several areas needing attention, bolstering the offensive line is a top priority, especially after last season's struggles with the guards.

However, the buzz around town is about a potential new addition at wide receiver.

According to Daniel Jeremiah's latest mock draft on NFL.com, the Ravens could snag Arizona State's standout wide receiver, Jordyn Tyson. This would be an intriguing move for offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, who might see shades of a former player he coached with the Bears, Luther Burden III, in Tyson's game.

If this pick comes to fruition, it would mark the sixth time since 2015 that Baltimore has opted for a pass catcher in the first round. Clearly, the Ravens are on the hunt for more firepower in their passing game. With Rashod Bateman's inconsistency and the departures of DeAndre Hopkins and Isaiah Likely, plus Tylan Wallace's free agency status, the need is evident.

Tyson brings a big, physical presence to the field. Despite battling injuries throughout his college career, including a hamstring issue that sidelined him for three games in 2025, his performance has been impressive.

Last season, he racked up 61 catches for 711 yards and eight touchdowns. The year before, he was instrumental in Arizona State's journey to the College Football Playoffs, amassing 75 catches for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns, with an average of 14.7 yards per catch.

As the draft approaches, all eyes will be on Baltimore to see if they can secure Tyson and give their offense the spark it needs.
