Lamar Jackson’s Week 7 outlook is still cloudy, but the betting market is giving the Ravens some hope he’ll be back against Cincinnati.
Baltimore has opened as a three-point favorite at home for its matchup with the Bengals, and DraftKings Sportsbook listing the Ravens at -148 on the moneyline suggests oddsmakers are leaning toward Jackson returning after a two-game absence. He missed Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns after failing to get back on the practice field following the ankle injury he suffered in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans.
For now, the Ravens are in wait-and-see mode. After Jackson was ruled out for Week 6, head coach Jesse Minter kept his update guarded.
"It's day by day, I would say," Minter said ahead of Week 6. "And I think it's just a decision for his best interest. And that's really what every decision's always going to be about."
Jackson was hurt in the first half of Baltimore’s Week 4 win over Tennessee and never returned, even after throwing multiple touchdowns and helping the Ravens build a comfortable lead. Tyler Huntley finished that game at quarterback.
Huntley then started in Week 5 against the Atlanta Falcons and did enough to get the job done, completing 24 of 32 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns while also scoring on the ground in an overtime win. That pushed Baltimore to 4-1 and kept the team in a strong spot in the AFC North. ESPN’s Adam Schefter had already reported Jackson had a realistic chance to play in Week 6, but that never materialized.
Instead, Jackson sat out all week, was officially ruled out, and Huntley found far less room to operate against Cleveland. Baltimore managed just 165 passing yards and a touchdown in a 13-10 loss, dropping the Ravens behind the Browns in the division.
That’s why Week 7 matters. Baltimore has won three of the last four games Huntley has started in Jackson’s place, but the larger body of work without Jackson is still rough: the Ravens are 7-12 all time without him. If Jackson is unavailable again, it would be hard to imagine Baltimore staying a favorite at home against Joe Burrow and the Bengals.
Jackson’s numbers before the injury were rolling. He has completed 70.8 percent of his passes for 967 yards, six touchdowns and one interception.
He also leads the league in yards per attempt, yards per completion and passer rating in 2026. On the ground, he’s added 19 carries for 144 yards and a touchdown, which points to his rushing being back at a higher level than it was in 2025.
The clearest clue on Jackson’s Week 7 status should come from Baltimore’s practice reports, but for now bettors are best treating him as highly questionable until he gets back on the field.

Ravens Offense Hit A Wall And Declan Doyle Owns The Debate
Without Lamar Jackson, rookie offensive coordinator Declan Doyle had to navigate a familiar kind of Baltimore test against Cleveland: protect a battered offense, keep the run game alive and find enough answers for a quarterback room under strain. The Ravens did enough early to stay in the game, but the attack never found a lasting rhythm, and the Browns were able to bottle up the rushing effort in a 13-10 loss that left the play-calling choices under the microscope.
Doyles first real NFL crisis came with the sort of limitations that can make an offense feel like it is working uphill on every snap, especially with the line struggling to hold up. There were chances to vary the ground game and stress Cleveland in different ways, but the sequence of plays never really opened the door wide enough for Baltimore to escape its own stall, and the result was a reminder that the Ravens offense still has a long way to go before it can operate cleanly without its star quarterback. Browns Rookie Drew Praise After Helping Flip Ravens Loss
Carson Schwesinger was one of the quieter reasons the Browns were able to hang around long enough to beat the Ravens, but his impact showed up everywhere on the stat sheet and in the tone of the defense. The rookie linebacker finished with a game-high 13 tackles and added a forced fumble in Clevelands 13-10 win, the kind of all-around effort that can shape a tight AFC North game when every possession feels loaded.
Jared Verse singled out Schwesinger afterward for the way he kept playing through the kind of setback that often pulls young defenders out of the rotation. For Baltimore, it was one more reminder of how quickly a game can tilt when a linebacker is consistently around the ball, especially when a turnover turns into points and changes the entire feel of the fourth quarter. Ravens Suddenly Need Cam Jurgens More Than Ever Against Bengals
Baltimores offensive line issues have been building for weeks, and the middle of the unit has been hit especially hard. The Ravens traded for Cam Jurgens from Philadelphia to help stabilize things, but he has spent the past two weeks out with a concussion, leaving the team to keep patching together the interior while the injuries pile up around him.
With Cincinnati next on the schedule, Jurgens suddenly looms as a more important piece than he did when the deal was made. A healthy return would give Baltimore a cleaner answer in the middle and ease some of the strain on a line that has already had trouble holding up, which is exactly the sort of boost the Ravens need heading into a division game.
