Bengals
Joe Flacco is back in Cincinnati, and while he's happy to be with the Bengals, he’s not shy about expressing his frustration with teams that overlooked him for a starting quarterback role. “Believe me, I wish I was a guy somewhere,” Flacco shared, adding that he thinks teams are missing out by not making him their starter. It’s clear that being passed over has lit a fire in him, fueling his determination to prove his worth if given the chance.
Flacco’s motivation is palpable. “I probably do feel that way.
I feel like I have unfinished business,” he said, emphasizing that his journey in the league is far from over. He’s eager to contribute to the Bengals, even if it’s in a different capacity.
“I don’t see this as the end,” he insisted, confident that he can still help the team succeed.
Ravens
Zay Flowers is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and the Ravens are keen on keeping him around. According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Baltimore is looking to lock in Flowers with a new deal sooner rather than later. The fifth-year option is just a formality, and GM Eric DeCosta is eager to secure Flowers’ future with the team beyond 2027.
Zrebiec notes that Flowers’ upcoming deal might trail slightly behind what Rams WR Puka Nacua is expected to earn. Meanwhile, the Ravens have some roster gaps to fill, including positions like center, receiver, and edge rusher. The team aims to address these needs before the 2026 NFL Draft, as they prefer not to have glaring holes going into it.
On the offensive line, the Ravens seem set with Ronnie Stanley and Roger Rosengarten at tackle, but questions remain at right guard and center. Utah’s Spencer Fano could be a solid pick at No. 14, with potential to start on the interior line and eventually transition to tackle. As for free agent TE David Njoku’s visit to Baltimore, there’s been no movement in his market yet.
Texans
Foster Moreau’s decision to join the Texans was heavily influenced by the team’s coaching staff. His conversation with head coach DeMeco Ryans left a lasting impression.
“DeMeco seems awesome,” Moreau said, highlighting Ryans’ strong leadership qualities. Moreau is also excited to work with offensive coordinator Nick Caley, whom he has admired since his early days, and Jerry Schuplinski, who he praises as a great leader for the offense.
