According to reports, Dart and Harbaugh spoke extensively during the coach’s interview process with the Giants. The two connected in person when Harbaugh came in for his formal interview on January 14, and they followed that up with multiple phone conversations.
By the end of it, Dart was all in.
“He was just a coach who I feel like I just bought into the things that he was saying immediately,” Dart said. “Just the way that he carries himself and can conduct himself in front of a room - and his track record is incredible.”
And that track record speaks for itself. Harbaugh went 180-113 in Baltimore, led the Ravens to a Super Bowl XLVII title, and built a reputation for tough, disciplined, competitive football. While his postseason success cooled off in recent years (just 4-7 in the playoffs since that Super Bowl run), his ability to build a winning culture has never been in question.
That’s exactly what the Giants are hoping to tap into - and Dart can already feel it. The quarterback talked about Harbaugh’s presence, his energy, and the intensity he brings to the table. For a young team looking to turn the corner, that kind of leadership might be the spark they’ve been missing.
“Immediately the winning culture, the intensity, and then just the enthusiasm and love about football - that’s what he carries and brings to the team,” Dart said. “So, just can’t wait to get started and get rolling with him.”

With a proven winner like Harbaugh on the sidelines and a young quarterback already bought in, the foundation is being laid for a new chapter in New York.
