Davis Webb’s stock is rising fast-and the NFL is taking notice.
Just a few years removed from holding a clipboard as a backup quarterback, Webb has quickly transitioned from student to teacher, and now, to one of the most intriguing young coaching minds on the market. At just 31, the Denver Broncos’ passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach has drawn serious interest from multiple teams looking to fill offensive coordinator roles-and for good reason.
Webb’s fingerprints are all over the Broncos’ surprising run to the AFC Championship this season, their first trip in a decade. He played a pivotal role in the rapid development of Bo Nix, who blossomed into a poised, high-IQ quarterback under Webb’s guidance.
Nix’s growth wasn’t just about mechanics or playbook mastery-it was about confidence, decision-making, and command of the huddle. Webb helped unlock that, and NFL teams have taken notice.
The Las Vegas Raiders and Buffalo Bills have already interviewed Webb for their OC vacancies. And according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the list of suitors is growing: the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Baltimore Ravens have all requested interviews as well.
The Raiders may be the most aggressive in their pursuit. After a 3-14 collapse led to Pete Carroll’s swift dismissal, Las Vegas is looking for a fresh voice to help reset the tone offensively. Webb, with six years of NFL playing experience and a strong reputation as a communicator, fits the bill.
But don’t sleep on the Giants in this race. Webb has deep roots in New York-he was drafted by the Giants in the third round back in 2017 and had a second stint with the team in 2022 before transitioning to coaching. That familiarity with the organization, combined with the opportunity to develop another promising young quarterback in Jaxson Dart, makes the Giants an intriguing landing spot.
After Broncos passing game coordinator and QB coach Davis Webb interviewed this week for the Raiders and Bills head coaching jobs, he received interview requests for offensive coordinator jobs with the Eagles, Giants, and Ravens.

Then there’s the Ravens and Eagles-two playoff-caliber teams looking to maintain offensive continuity or spark new energy. Webb’s ability to connect with quarterbacks and elevate their play could be exactly what either franchise needs to take the next step.
Of course, there’s also a scenario where Webb doesn’t go anywhere. With Denver parting ways with offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, there’s a very real possibility that the Broncos promote from within-and Webb would be the natural choice. Elevating him would keep the system intact, maintain momentum for Bo Nix and the young core, and reward a coach who’s earned the trust of both players and staff.
Wherever Webb ends up, one thing is clear: he’s not just a former quarterback trying to find his way in the coaching ranks anymore. He’s a rising star, and his next move could shape not just his own future, but the trajectory of whichever offense he takes over.
