Maxx Crosby Breaks Silence On NFL Future With Surprise Twist

Maxx Crosby reaffirms his allegiance to the Raiders, dismissing trade rumors and setting the record straight on social media.

Maxx Crosby has made his stance crystal clear after the buzz around his trade to the Baltimore Ravens fizzled out. In a bold social media post, the Pro Bowl pass rusher reaffirmed his allegiance to the Las Vegas Raiders, dismissing the swirling rumors about his supposed 'failed' physical.

Crosby took to X with a message that left no room for doubt: "Everything Happens For A Reason. Believe Nothing You Hear & Half Of What You See." This declaration signals his readiness to leave the drama behind and focus on his role in Nevada.

"I'm A Raider. I'm Back.

Run That S***," he proclaimed, punctuating his words with eagle and pirate flag emojis. This show of loyalty is a huge sigh of relief for Raiders fans who were anxious about losing their defensive stalwart to a Super Bowl contender.

The narrative took a twist when Crosby shared a GIF of WWE legend The Undertaker rising from a flaming casket, underscoring his defiance. The Raiders had previously clarified that the trade fell through because the Ravens pulled out, not due to any failed medical tests on Crosby's part.

Insiders across the league echoed this sentiment, suggesting the Ravens got cold feet due to the hefty price tag of the trade. "This is very much bulls*** on Baltimore's part," an anonymous NFL GM told Tom Pelissero, as criticism of the Ravens mounted.

Dianna Russini reported that Baltimore had all the pertinent details about Crosby's knee recovery well before the deal was on the table. Despite the fallout, Ravens GM Eric DeCosta expressed his disappointment, stating he had hoped to bring both Crosby and Trey Hendrickson to Baltimore.

The proposed trade, which would have cost the Ravens their 2026 and 2027 first-round picks, reportedly collapsed after concerns arose from Crosby's medical evaluation. Although Raiders' medical staff gave Crosby the green light, the Ravens' assessment raised red flags about his recovery from knee surgery.

According to ESPN, the evaluation process began with Dr. Daniel Cooper, the Dallas Cowboys' team doctor, who expressed concerns about Crosby's surgically repaired knee.

ESPN's Adam Schefter noted that multiple doctors reviewed the MRI scans, including Dr. Cooper, whose opinion influenced the Ravens' decision to withdraw from the trade.

Despite these developments, NFL Network reports that the Cowboys remain interested in Crosby. "There are teams that are going to be interested still in a Maxx Crosby trade, but there are a lot of things that they need to get answers on," said Pelissero. "Starting with the medical."

Crosby has been recovering from knee surgery performed by the renowned Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

In light of the trade's collapse, Crosby's agent, CJ LaBoy, took to X to counter the medical concerns. "Maxx continues to be on track in his recovery and if anything is ahead of schedule according to his surgeon Dr.

Neal ElAttrache," LaBoy posted.

He emphasized that Crosby is on course to return during the offseason program and will undoubtedly reclaim his status as a dominant force on the field.
