AUBURN, Ala. - Keyshawn Hall is making waves this season, earning a spot on the prestigious Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Men’s College Player of the Year Late-Season Team. This recognition by the Atlanta Tipoff Club highlights his standout performance on the court.
Hall is putting up impressive numbers, averaging 21.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, making him the fourth-leading scorer in the SEC. His recent 29-point, 10-rebound showcase against Mississippi State marked his 15th game scoring 20 or more points and his seventh double-double of the season.
Hailing from Cleveland, Hall is a force at the free-throw line, having made the second most in the nation with 179. He’s closing in on Auburn’s single-season record for free throws made, a mark set by John Mengelt back in the 1970-71 season with 208. With 504 points this season, Hall is just 44 points shy of breaking into Auburn’s top 20 for single-season points scored.
Hall is in elite company, being one of seven SEC players named to the Naismith list. Joining him are Darius Acuff Jr. from Arkansas, Nate Ament and Ja’Kobi Gillespie from Tennessee, Thomas Haugh from Florida, Labaron Philon Jr. from Alabama, and Tyler Tanner from Vanderbilt. This recognition underscores Hall's significant impact and potential as the season progresses.
