BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Auburn's Jackson Koivun is making waves in the SEC golf scene, and his latest performance at The Hayt is a testament to his growing prowess. After a thrilling come-from-behind victory, Koivun was rightfully named SEC Golfer of the Week, marking the third time this season and the 12th in his career that he’s earned this accolade.

Koivun, hailing from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, showcased his talent at Sawgrass Country Club with an impressive 11-under finish. Starting strong with a 68 (-4) and a 70 (-2), he found himself trailing by just two strokes as he entered the final round.

The pressure was on, but Koivun delivered when it mattered most. He played a composed final round, carding 13 pars and five birdies, capping it off with a crucial birdie on the 54th and final hole.

This clinched his eighth career victory by a single shot, extending his streak of top 10 finishes to six consecutive events. It's also his third win in just four starts this spring, underscoring his exceptional form.

Koivun's efforts were pivotal for No. 2 Auburn, as they secured their third team victory of the season.
