Keyshawn Hall’s next stop is still up in the air, but one thing is now clear: the former Auburn forward has another year of college eligibility on the table.
Hall was recently granted a fifth year through a preliminary injunction in Ohio, his home state, and he is “exploring multiple college options” as he weighs where he’ll play in the 2026-27 season.
That development comes after a busy stretch for Hall on the professional side. He went undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, then signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Miami Heat and spent the last couple of months on the Summer League roster. In five games in July, he averaged 3.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
Hall had already set himself up for either path. He declared for the draft on April 20 while keeping his college eligibility intact, and he also entered the transfer portal in case he received a fifth season. In other words, he was headed out of Auburn one way or another - either to a pro contract or to another college program.
The Ohio injunction didn’t just affect Hall. It also opened the door for others around the country, including Cincinnati’s MJ Collins and Xavier forward Filip Borovicanin, both of whom are now planning to return to their respective schools.
For Auburn, Hall’s lone season in orange and blue was a big one. He arrived from UCF last offseason, making Auburn his fourth school in four years, and delivered 19.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a senior. That production earned him Third Team All-SEC honors.
