AUBURN, Ala - DJ Bennett is making waves once again, earning SEC Player of the Week for the second time this season, and the third in her career. This recognition comes after a standout performance that helped propel Auburn to a significant road victory over Florida, marking the Tigers' fifth win against the Gators in their storied rivalry.

Bennett, a senior from Belleview, Florida, shone in her homecoming match. She was pivotal in securing both the doubles and singles victories, showcasing her versatility and leadership on the court. In doubles, Bennett teamed up with Ava Esposito to take down the 23rd-ranked duo of Xinyi Nong and Nikola Daubnerova, clinching the doubles point with a decisive 6-3 win.

On the singles court, Bennett faced off against No. 54 Valery Gynina.

She quickly established dominance, racing to a 4-1 lead before closing out the first set 6-3. Bennett maintained her momentum into the second set, winning five consecutive games and ultimately sealing the match with another 6-3 set.
