Auburn Womens Tennis Gears Up for Exciting Saturday Doubleheader Showdown

Auburn's formidable womens tennis team gears up to defend their undefeated home record against Arkansas and Eastern Kentucky in a highly anticipated doubleheader.

AUBURN, Ala. - The No. 13 Auburn women’s tennis team is gearing up for a thrilling SEC home opener this Saturday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.

The Tigers will face off against Arkansas at 11 a.m. CT, followed by a match against Eastern Kentucky at 3 p.m.

Auburn head coach Jordan Szabo shared his excitement about the upcoming doubleheader, highlighting the opportunity for the entire team to gain valuable match experience. "It's our last doubleheader of the season, and it's a chance for everyone to get on the court," Szabo explained.

"Arkansas is a strong team, and I know their coach well. They'll be ready to challenge us."

The Tigers are riding high after securing back-to-back road victories, including a decisive win over No. 11 Oklahoma on Thursday. With a 17-1 overall record and an undefeated 11-0 streak at home, Auburn is proving to be a formidable force this season.
