The Auburn Tigers are making waves as they gear up for the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, set to take place from March 25-28 at Atlanta's renowned McAuley Aquatic Center. Four standout swimmers from Auburn, along with four relay alternates, have punched their tickets to this prestigious event.
Leading the charge is Uros Zivanovic, who will showcase his skills in the 100 breaststroke. Joining him are a talented trio of freshmen: Maston Ballew, competing in the 100 breast, 200 breast, and 400 IM; Abdalla Nasr, taking on the 100 and 200 fly; and Daniel Krichevsky, set to swim the 100 free, 200 free, and 100 fly. Their inclusion marks a significant milestone, particularly for the freshmen making their NCAA debut.
Zivanovic, a sophomore transfer from Georgia Tech, is no stranger to this stage. Last year, he not only competed but also contributed to a 14th-place finish in the 200 medley relay, earning an All-American Honorable Mention. His return to the championships signals a chance to build on that experience.
The relay alternates-Kalle Makinen, Sohib Khaled, Luke Bedsole, and Warner Russ-will also be on hand, ready to support their teammates and step in if needed.
Throughout the 2025-26 season, these athletes have delivered some of the fastest times in Auburn's history. Zivanovic's 51.10 in the 100 breast and Ballew's 1:52.10 in the 200 breast are both second-fastest in the program's record books. These performances highlight the exceptional talent and potential this group brings to the championships.
Adding to the excitement, diver Ethan Swart has already secured his spot in the 1-meter competition, rounding out a formidable Auburn contingent.
As the countdown to March 25 begins, all eyes will be on the Tigers as they dive into action at one of collegiate swimming's most storied venues.
