Pro Football Focus ranked him as the highest-graded linebacker in the country with a 91.7 rating, and his tackles and sack totals placed him third in the SEC.

"Just being where my feet are. Just everyday getting better," he stated, underscoring the need to avoid complacency.
"Not getting content. That’s the biggest thing because coach Durk emphasizes you can always get better at something."
