The Hawks used up their two open spots on a 21-man training camp roster by bringing in forward Cameron Corhen and guard Kobe Johnson, the team announced.
Atlanta didn’t disclose the terms, but Brad Rowland of Locked on Hawks said both deals are non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contracts. That points both players toward the College Park Skyhawks, where they’d be positioned to earn bonuses of up to $91K apiece if they’re waived and then spend at least 60 days with the G League club.
Johnson already knows that path well. He’s a returning rights player for College Park after spending last season with the Hawks’ G League affiliate.
Corhen, who went undrafted out of Pittsburgh this June, could join him there as an affiliate player. Both also played for Atlanta’s Summer League team in July.
Elsewhere, the Heat are adding free agent guard Lester Quinones on an Exhibit 10 deal, according to agent Scott Nichols, who told Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald. Quinones, 25, has 54 NBA regular season appearances on his résumé across stops with Golden State, Philadelphia, and New Orleans from 2023-25.
He was with the Osceola Magic in the G League last season, and his returning rights were traded over the weekend to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Miami’s affiliate. Jackson added that Quinones is expected to be in the mix for a two-way contract with the Heat.
Charlotte also made a move after waiving Rob Dillingham earlier in the day, signing forward Wyatt Fricks to fill the opening, the team announced via Twitter. Back in June, reporting indicated the Hornets had an Exhibit 10 agreement lined up with Fricks, who went undrafted out of Marshall. He was the only college player in 2025/26 to post at least 50 dunks and 50 made three-pointers.
The Pistons, meanwhile, officially waived guard Bryson Warren, according to NBA.com’s transaction log. Warren signed with Detroit on Sunday, but he wasn’t on the training camp roster the club released Monday, making the move expected. He’s slated to report to the Motor City Cruise, Detroit’s G League affiliate, this fall.
