Kroy Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of former Atlanta Falcons defender Kroy Biermann and reality TV personality Kim Zolciak, is being held without bond after an arrest on aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery charges.
Fulton County court documents say Biermann Jr. was arrested on Aug. 17, 2026, and later appeared for arraignment before Magistrate Court Judge Cassandra Kirk. He is being represented by attorney Jason Sheffield.
A redacted incident report says an Alpharetta police officer was sent to North Fulton Hospital on April 24, 2026, “for a report of sexual assault.” According to the report, the alleged incident took place the day before, on April 23, 2026, in a Lifetime Fitness changing room.
Biermann’s father spent eight seasons in the NFL, almost all of them with the Falcons. He was a fifth-round pick in the 2008 NFL draft out of the University of Montana and appeared in 114 games with 37 starts for Atlanta from 2008-2015. He later signed with the Buffalo Bills during the 2016 offseason, but was released in final roster cuts before the regular season, which effectively ended his playing career.
Kim Zolciak is best known as one of the original cast members of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” where she appeared during the show’s first five seasons. She and Biermann met on the set in 2010.
After that, Zolciak went on to star in “Don’t Be Tardy” on Bravo, a series that followed her family life with Biermann and their six children. The show lasted eight seasons.
Zolciak also competed on season 21 of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2015, but she withdrew early because of illness.
The couple has since been involved in a highly publicized divorce that has turned into intense legal and custody battles.
