The Atlanta Falcons may be getting a much-needed boost to their offense in Week 14, and it comes in the form of their top wideout, Drake London. After missing the last two games with a PCL injury suffered during the Falcons’ overtime loss to the Panthers in Week 11, London is trending in the right direction.
Head coach Raheem Morris offered an encouraging update on Monday, saying London is “certainly” in play to return this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. Of course, the team will monitor his practice reps throughout the week, but the arrow is pointing up.
London’s absence put a temporary halt to what had been an impressive stretch. Prior to the injury, he was riding a three-game streak of 100-yard performances and had firmly established himself as one of the league’s most productive receivers.

Heading into Week 14, he ranks eighth in the NFL in receiving yards, with 60 catches for 810 yards and six touchdowns. That’s not just solid - that’s top-tier production, and it’s been missed in Atlanta’s offense.
For fantasy managers, London’s return is more than just good news - it’s a potential game-changer. He’s averaging 19.7 PPR points per game over his last four outings, which puts him fifth among all wide receivers in PPR formats. That kind of output is hard to replace, and while the Falcons have tried to patch things together in his absence, there’s no question London brings a level of consistency and explosiveness that’s been lacking.
The Falcons’ offense has had its share of struggles this season, particularly with injuries piling up. Most notably, they’ll continue to be without starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr., which has limited their ceiling on offense. But even with the QB situation in flux, London’s return could help stabilize the passing game - and give the Falcons a chance to get back on track.
In London’s absence, Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts stepped up to fill the void, and both had their moments. Mooney led the team with 74 receiving yards in a Week 12 win over the Saints, while Pitts had his best game in a while with 82 yards in Week 13.
Those performances kept the offense afloat, but with London likely returning, he’ll resume his role as the primary target in the passing game. His 94 targets on the season rank 15th among all wide receivers, a clear sign of his importance to this offense - and to fantasy lineups.
Even with a tough matchup looming against a stout Seahawks defense, London remains a strong start candidate in fantasy leagues. His volume and red-zone presence give him a high floor, and if he’s healthy, he’ll be heavily involved from the jump.
As for the rest of Atlanta’s offense, Bijan Robinson continues to be the engine. The rookie back has been electric, even without London on the field.
He’s topped 30 PPR points in two of his last three games and was the top-scoring fantasy running back in Week 13 after torching the Jets for 193 scrimmage yards and 30.3 points. Robinson is locked in as a must-start every week, and pairing him with a healthy London gives the Falcons a dynamic one-two punch that can keep defenses honest.
Kyle Pitts, meanwhile, is back on the fantasy radar after his Week 13 breakout. While his production has been up and down, the recent performance is a reminder of the upside he still brings to the tight end position. He’s more of a fringe starter at this point, but if the offense starts clicking with London back in the mix, Pitts could benefit from more favorable matchups.
The Falcons are hoping this is the start of a late-season turnaround. With London potentially returning, Robinson hitting his stride, and Pitts showing signs of life, there’s reason to believe this offense could find its rhythm - even with the quarterback situation still unsettled. Sunday’s matchup against Seattle will be a tough test, but it could also be the spark Atlanta’s been waiting for.
